I love the twist on an old legend!
This instalment of "The Devils Roses" is so creative. The plot is brilliantly laid out & characters are becoming clearly defined. I can see the mansion but cant quite picture Hannahs 'Monster' but can see Hannah.
Hannah quickly became one of my fav characters in this series. Its also easier to see the other characters now Hannah has joined the plot.

This series is one of the most original & creative stories I've ever read...and I'm (nearly) 40yo and have been hooked on fantasy since Enid Blytons' "Magic Faraway Tree".
Some grammar and spelling problems made it a bit difficult to read in some parts...but, PLEASE, this is a huge body of work that was just about gifted to us, price wise.

I love how there is romance and sexiness but nothing too graphic. I did get a little confused who liked who, but that's probably my brain not keeping up with my eyes.You definately can't just pick up "Hyde" and read it without reading "The Devils Roses" in chronological order.

I'm seriously into this series. Book 3 was a loss of words. It seems that each book integrates new major characters while keeping you in the loop on everyone else. This one though, man it takes a deadly turn. We're talking death to a major player. Makes me wonder if somehow that character will make a later appearance that only the supernatural world is capable of??? I'm still intrigued and now borderline obessed. I've just downloaded book 4, so now I'm cutting this short so I can read on.

Jekyll and Hyde, haha, sometimes I wonder how Tara Brown comes up with this stuff. Hyde is the third book in the Devil's Roses Series and it is just as amazing as the first two. We are introduced to a new character Hyde and she is quite the charmer. I definitely recommend reading this especially if you enjoyed the first two. I can't wait to start reading Witch, book 4 in the series. 5 stars!
Enjoyed the first 2 in the series, my eighth Tara Brown book in so many weeks. I didn't know what to think of the main character Hannah at first. She seemed full of drama and spoiled, but then I grew to really like her. Her special power, Hyde meets Hulk meets something I can't spoil, adds a lot to this girls extremely complicated, tortured love life. She's a distinct character different and similar to the other 2 in previous books. Our favorites Aimee, Ari, Lucas, Aleks, Lydia, Dorian and Lorri are still in it and getting into trouble and adventures. Aimee's friend Giselle is reintroduced and her luck is still terrible-getting hooked on vamp blood and I'll let you find out the rest.
The $2 for this book is well worth it!
So in the first two books, Cursed and Bane, the author demonstrates her ability to play the heart strings of her readers, to make us feel every emotion each character experiences and suffers through Pain, sorrow, loss, devastation, love, lust, heartache, etc. But then comes along Hanna and we are given a whole new range of emotions Confusion, determination, fear, psychosis, victory, and power.

Hanna being what she is, attracts anything with boy-parts and it's hilariously entertaining and steamy at the same time. This book was one big lust-fest with underlying mysteries and intrigue throughout.

This book did not disappoint. Except for maybe the end. But then that character is brought back in a later book (thanks to Ari's interference) and I could not have been happier about that!!

I read this one, then HAD to read the rest of the series. Tara Brown is a good writer, but wish I had read one of her other series, as by the time I've finished all of ‘Cursed’, I almost feel psychotic. I’m sure she felt that way herself by the end of this series. Makes you wish she had killed off Ari quickly.
This series is a little to mature for YA, but a little too YA for mature readers. That aside, it is also compelling and Ms Brown and her editors are to be commended for being able to keep the various storylines straight. This is the ultimate book series for fans of “Do-Overs’. Some of the main characters in each story are a little light and not fleshed out really well.
Now I have to go read her ‘Light’ series. If I like that one, then I will purchase the next step of this series, which is ‘Redeemers’. Right now I need a break from do-over Ari, confused Aimie, horrible Hanna and mean-girl Giselle.
