A skim since it was very difficult to read.

1) I am not a grammar nazi, but the book is in desperate need of an editor. The story was riddled with incorrect use of tenses and misspelled words.

2) Many times the page was filled with one long running paragraph.

3) Much of the story was in the form of the h’s inner thoughts. Most of the story was also told to the reader.

From what I was able to gather, the story was about a prince who was from another dimension and landed into the h’s present time. She has powers to gain him a portal back to his time but they had to beat off monsters who are after the prince.

“Miranda woke up with a groggy yawn, sitting up and stretching her limbs out. She’d slept well and she looked forward to the day excitedly. She noticed that the bed was empty save herself. Leo must have gotten up early and gone to scout the place out, he never can sit still. Miranda got out of bed and made herself some breakfast, a simple meal of cereal and milk was enough to get her perked up. She followed it up with a shower and then checked her phone to see if she had any messages.”

I enjoyed the storyline. There was one flaw though--the prince's speech pattern was too modern for him, which I found distracting. Otherwise, it was entertaining.
I loved this story!! I hope there will be more!!! Miranda and Leofric! What an amazing pair they are! Time travel and magic!! What a wonderful book!!
Enjoyable story. Fast paced. Some things could have been more fleshed out. Some of it was a little improbable, but, oh well, it’s fiction. Several errors, but still a fun read. HEA.
