In case you're addressing me, it's not exactly what you say but rather how you say it that matters. Another review distributed for the current week in Science finds that pooches likewise get on these critical, yet isolate subtle elements. What's more, there's additional. Not exclusively does this review and as far as anyone is concerned how mutts take care of human dialect, it likewise brings up critical issues about the distinction between preparing human discourse and understanding of it.

This is a subject of great interest to me, so I really wanted to like the book. If the author obtains a really good editor to clean it up quite a bit, I might try reading it again. However, in its current state, it is just too tedious and error prone. It is more of a academic paper than a book for the general public. The language and terminology is definitely from the great halls of academia. However, the grammatical errors are even more annoying. The author illustrations his own point in this sentence:
"It is both what you say and the way that you say it that matters with regards to speaking with man's closest companion, inquire about has uncovered."
An editor would probably rewrite that statement to read something like this: "This study has concluded that it is both what you say and the way that you say it that matters with regards to speaking with man's closest companion, the dog."
A different book might be of interest to you if you want to understand your dog, "How to train your dog in his or her language" - Anna Kelly. I thought it was one of the better books out there.
This is my favorite book from the halls of academia on dogs, "How Dogs Love Us: A Neuroscientist and His Adopted Dog Decode the Canine Brain" by Gregory Berns.

I wanted to like and finish this. But I gave up a few pages in because I couldn't understand the text. There are too many grammatical errors, nonsensical words used, and ambiguous or incomplete sentences. I also didn't see a bibliography, which seems pretty important for an article like this.
It was very informative.
I learnt some things that have helped me to work with and train my dogs better. The book also helped me understand why the dogs sometimes behave in ways that appear out of character for them. A very useful guide to how my dogs and I can enjoy each other more.
This is a very interesting true story of a group of researches who determined how to do MRIs of their dog's brains to learn more about how dogs process information.
I assumed this book was written in English. My mistake.
Very hard to decipher many of the passages. I think this could be quite informative, if it were better converted to American english. As it is many things are very hard to make sense, I had to struggle alot to make out what the author was trying to convey.
I love dogs, especially my two. This is a subject I am very interested in and was looking forward to reading another book on dog/human relationship. Unfortunately, this book is difficult and sometimes impossible to understand. They need to get an editor that understands the english language and translate it for us.
